CHW Selects JK Health Information Privacy Advisors
to Help Their Doctors With HIPAA Compliance

San Francisco, October 31, 2002 -- JK Health Information Privacy Advisors, a professional corporation, a San Francisco based firm that helps health care organizations comply with the new rules governing the privacy of patients’ medical information (the HIPAA Privacy Rule) announced today that Catholic Healthcare West (CHW) has selected the firm as one of three resources available for consulting and training. CHW is the largest not-for-profit health care provider in California and the largest Catholic hospital system in the western part of the United States.

CHW’s Chief Privacy & Data Security Administrator has started making presentations as to the HIPAA Privacy Rule to physicians with admitting privileges at CHW hospitals. In the PowerPoint presentations, CHW lists the firm as one of three HIPAA resources available to physicians for consulting and training.
